Construction Services for replacement of switch board in the Mayo Building, located on the east bank of the Twin Cities campus. Refer to the Request for Proposal documents (found in the Attachments tab) for full project details/requirements. The Mayo Building, located at 420 Delaware Street SE, Minneapolis, MN 55455, is the administrative building for the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and Public Health. The electrical vault is located in the basement of Mayo Building. The switchgear is a main tie main configured gear fed via two 13.8kV -120/208V transformers. The switchboards contain fusible 1200A sections with transition and tie sections. This facility has electrical equipment that is near end of life, as it needs continuous repair and maintenance. Deadline for RFP Questions March 7, 2024 at Noon The total construction budget for this Project is $2,607,000 (current dollars, no escalation). The University requires the Project to be substantially complete by no later than October 31, 2025.
