The Southcentral Region of the Pennsylvania Game Commission is soliciting bids for competing vegetation removal on 133 acres on game lands located in Huntingdon and Juniata Counties. The Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC), Bureau of Wildlife Habitat Management, Forestry Division, Southcentral Region, requires the services of an Operator at specifically designated locations to provide ground application of herbicide in forested areas of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to aid in the establishment of stands of desirable trees by eliminating competing understory vegetation consisting primarily of Ailanthus and Paulownia plants. The types and categories of equipment, specific locations and the timing for herbicide application required for this project are detailed in Section G. Project requires the Operator to provide the herbicide, labor, insurance, and all miscellaneous expenses to complete the operation. The Commission will reimburse the Operator based upon the surveyed acreage treated.
