The consultant will provide complete construction management services including preconstruction services, construction management, coordination, scheduling, administration, inspection, materials testing, construction staking, contract administration services, quality control, traffic management, safety, storm water quality, claims mitigation, and document control. Construction management, scheduling, and administration services to be provided include all construction activities undertaken by outside entities in connection with the project, as well as the monitoring and 9 implementation of all permits, utility relocations, and agreement provisions associated with the project. - General work description: The project includes two-way street conversion with buffered Class II bike lanes on Broadway, from 3 rd Street to 19 th Street, and 21 st Street to 24 th Street. The project also includes construction of a new roadway connection (29th Street), between X Street and Broadway. Work will include rehabilitation of roadway, reconstructing curb ramps to ADA standards, replacing curb, gutter and sidewalk, pavement markings, roadside signs, traffic signal modifications and street lighting as shown on the plans and as directed by the Engineer.
