Site work and paving for a civil project in Newman Grove, Nebraska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The proposed project consists of 3 phases, each phase is more thoroughly described as: Division I - Earthwork - Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items required to construct the earthwork and SWPPP appurtenances to the lines and grades shown on the plans. Work will include stripping of the site, excavation, placing of fill, compaction, testing, fine grading, and other miscellaneous work. Division II - Water & Sewer Improvements - Furnish all labor, equipment, materials, and incidental items required for the construction of approximately 900 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water main, 1150 linear feet of 8-inch PVC sanitary sewer main, fire hydrants, miscellaneous fittings, manholes, and all other work required to construct the project to the lines and grades shown on the plans. Division III - Paving & Storm Sewer Improvements - Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment to construct approximately 3700 square yards of 7-inch PC Concrete Paving and approximately 800 linear feet of RCP Storm Sewer along with subgrade preparation, storm sewer boxes, and other necessary appurtenances required to construct the project in accordance with the plans. Bidders shall submit a bid security certificate in the amount of 5% of the grand total base bid with all bids. 3.2. In lieu of a bid security certificate, the Bidders may submit a certified check in the amount of 5% of the grand total base bid. The certified check shall be made out to the Owner. 3.3. Checks and bid securities shall be returned to unsuccessful bidders. 4. Payment and Performance Bonds 4.1. The successful bidder shall be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of the sum of the contract.
