The Nassau County Department of Public Works is requesting proposals from firms to provide Professional Construction Management and Inspection Services for Nassau County Department of Public Work's Construction Management Unit: Highway/Bridge Construction Group for the Rehabilitation of Cutter Mill Road/ Bayview Avenue over Long Island Rail Road Bridge. Project is federally funded. Services may include providing one Resident Engineer, one Office Engineer, Specialty Inspectors and two General/ Structural Inspectors for management of all construction related activities, contractor claims, and construction related engineering services. Personnel with previous LIRR experience will be required. The firms selected to provide these services will be awarded a two (2) year Agreement with the County. Vendors doing business with Nassau County, including those responding to this solicitation, must register with the County. The Nassau County Bid Solicitation Boards are open to all registered vendors. Vendors that have not registered are able to view open solicitation opportunities, but they are not able to download solicitation documents or submit bids or proposals.
