As of April 3 the project was awarded to Franklin Striping Inc, Hulxe Construction Services and Pavement Marking LLC. The term of the proposed contract is an initial one (1) year term beginning 4/18/23 to 4/17/24. Project Description: Pinal County desires to establish contracts to provide various pavement marking treatment service for the Public Works Department. All installations and obliterations shall be in accordance with the Pinal County Design Standards and Policies Manual, Pinal County's Supplemental to MAG Specifications and Standards and ADOT's Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction current version. Questions Due Date: Feb 17th 2023, 5:00 PM MST The Contractor shall adhere to the following minimum specifications, performance requirements and all terms and conditions within this contract. The successful bidders will provide all necessary personnel, equipment and materials to accomplish the following: Make an initial survey of roadways to record measurements of all existing markings in order to accurately replace these markings after the roadway is resurfaced. Layout all markings using striping plans or prerecorded as-built(s) with silver or white tic marks to facilitate the accurate installation of roadway markings after resurfacing. Schedule a review with Traffic Engineering to approve the lay-out (necessary before striping occurs). As directed by the Contract Administrator, install waterborne, hot-sprayed thermoplastic or extruded thermos plastic long line striping. Install extruded thermoplastic crosswalks, stop bars and pavement messages. Install preformed plastic pavement messages. Provide, install and remove raised reflective pavement markers. Obliterate Existing conflicting Pavement Markings. CONTRACT TERM. The resultant contract term will commence on April 18, 2023, and will continue for one (1) year unless canceled, terminated, renewed, or permissibly extended. The County has no obligation to extend or renew the contract past the initial term.
