The F-13 Building Abatement project will begin to prepare an existing unoccupied space within certain of the listed buildings by abating them, and then in a separate project (not part of this bid) interior demolition and then (not part of this bid) tenant improvements to the remaining shell for reusing the building for a new function. The purpose of this Scoping Document is for use by bidders to determine a more detailed scope of work: F-11 Building - excluded - to be abated in future project. F-12 Building - a small portion is in the base bid. The rest is out of scope and already abated. F-13 Building - this IS the primary scope of work area including a small basement, the crawl space, first floor and any plenums or attic spaces, and inside dual walls or plumbing walls in addition to that which is specifically indicated in the report. F-14 Building - this building is already abated, but will be used as the internal haul route for access to the CONTROL COURTYARD where vehicles can enter, dumpsters located, and creates a controlled space that is not very visible for optics reasons on the campus.
