The Six Nations of the Grand River Territory is the largest populated First Nation in Canada located approx. 1 hour south of Toronto. Six Nations has approx. 8.33 kilometers of gravel roads spread out throughout the community. Six Nations is seeking a contractor for delivery and application of 35% calcium chloride on these gravel roads for dust control in late May/ early June - weather permitting. All questions relating to this Request for Tenders, or any clarification with respect to this RFQ document, must be made via e-mail to Michael Montour at DPW@sixnations.ca no later than 10:00 a.m. on the date of closing. No responses will be given after this date and time. The Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council reserves the right to extend these timelines if required. By submitting a proposal, the proponent acknowledges and agrees that the Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council will not be responsible for any costs, expenses, losses, damages (including damages for loss of anticipated profit) or liabilities incurred by the proponent as a result of or arising out of submitting a quotation for the proposed contract or due to contract award not made in accordance with the express of implied terms of the proposal documents. The Six Nations of the Grand River Elected Council is NOT obligated to accept the lowest or any tender.
