This Request for Tenders (the "RFT") is an invitation by the City of Pickering (the "City") to prospective bidders to submit bids for Various Parks Pathway Reconstruction - Mitchell Park, South Pine Creek Park & Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park, as further described in Section A of the RFT Particulars (Appendix B) (the "Deliverables"). The City requires a Contractor to excavate and dispose of all earth and other material to reconstruct various Park Pathways. The Work will include the excavation, grading, and consolidation of the excavated areas for pathways / walkways, roadways, boulevards, driveways, sidewalks, curb and gutter, turf grass, and all extra excavation and grading below sub grade of the roadway or pathway/walkway, to remove unsuitable material or material susceptible to frost heaving. Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park hosts Canada Day Celebrations each year on July 1st for the City of Pickering. All work at Bay Ridges Kinsmen Park must be complete and contractor fully demobilized from site no later than June 23rd, 2023. Mitchell Park is attached to Bayview Heights Public School and construction activities must not impact on school activities. Mitchell park pathway reconstruction must occur during the school summer break staring July 1st, 2023 and with all work complete and contractor fully demobilized from site no later than August 21st 2023.
