For Secondary Electrical Upgrades The Work shall consist of all labor, equipment, fees, permits, and other related costs necessary to provide for upgrades to the secondary treatment process electrical system along with support equipment and accessories as shown and specified. Bidders are directed to Section 01010 Summary of Work for specific details. The Work shall be located in the City of Hartford; in the State of Connecticut as shown on the Bidding Documents. Requests for clarification are due Thursday, March 9, 2023 4:00:00 PM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)]. Prospective Bidders must attend both the Pre-Bid Conference and Site Tour and provide requested information on the sign-in sheet at the start of the Pre-Bid Conference and initial the sign-in sheet following the conclusion of the Site Tour. All prospective bidders are invited to ask questions to the District and/or the District's Agent(s) during this conference. Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference and Site Tour District Contract Specialists will take questions and provide support to bidders regarding the new documents. NOTE: The District has revised its standard project manuals and contract documents to conform to the EJCDC Construction Template Copyright 2018. This project is the first public bid to use the new format. Many document numbers have changed and many have revisions to the text. Please review the bid documents very carefully. The District will provide a short tutorial regarding the changes during the Mandatory Pre Bid Meeting on February 15, 2023. District Contract Specialists will take questions and provide support to bidders regarding the new documents. However, the burden of familiarizing themselves with the documents and submitting responsive bids remains the burden of all bidders.
