Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cookville, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Cookville WWTP is an existing membrane bioreactor (MBR) treatment plant with mechanical screening and on-site sludge dewatering. The current upgrade is required to provide additional treatment capacity. This project will include the replacement of several of the existing unit processes, the addition of building space, repurposing of existing building spaces, and the installation of new process, mechanical, and electrical equipment. The Project will include (but not be limited to): site expansion/development, building foundations, floor slabs, building superstructure, in-ground concrete tanks, removal of several existing treatment components (to be replaced by new equipment), removal of building mechanical and electrical systems (to be replaced by new and expanded systems), and the demolition of several components of the building and equipment systems.
