The project will be awarded under One (1) prime contract for platform extensions, the installation of decorative cast stone guardrails, steel handrails, cast stone decorative elements and the completion of a walkway. The contract is subject to the requirements for affirmative action to ensure equal employment opportunity. (Executive Order 11246). Bids must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or a bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the aforesaid Owner. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, as well as a Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the owner.
