Subcontractors having subcontract amounts over $500,000 and exterior skin scopes of work including waterproofing, roofing, plaster and fall protection systems, contractors provide performance and payment bonds and 2. Suppliers having purchase order amounts greater than $500,000 provide contract supply bonds. All bonds are to be for 100% of the subcontract or purchase order amount, as applicable, and from a surety listed in U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and have an A.M. Best Rating of A- or better. If your firm is listed as a proposed subcontractor in any listing required by law or the contract documents, such listing and subsequent award of a subcontract is contingent on your firm providing bonds meeting both Owner and McCarthy requirements.
