McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., an equal opportunity employer, is requesting Statements of Qualifications from subcontractors and suppliers for the above project including but not limited to Minority Business Enterprise, Women Business Enterprise, Veteran Business Enterprise, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise firms. McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. has been selected as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the above project. The project is an expansion to the Symphony Park L Garage Expansion and a New Vehicular Bridge for the City of Las Vegas. The project is expected to be out for bid March of 2023. Scopes of work associated with this project include a two (2) story vertical expansion of the Symphony Park L Garage and a new vehicle bridge connecting the Symphony Park L Garage to the 500 S. Main Street Garage located across the railroad tracks. The Building Square footage is: a. Existing - Floors 1 - 4 205,212 GSF b. Expansion - Floors 5 & 6 106,629 GSF c. Add Alternate #1 7th Floor 49,200 GSF d. Vehicle Bridge 5,050 GSF Trades include: Selective demolition, precast concrete, masonry, structural steel, metal stairs, vehicle bridge, damp proofing, waterproofing, water-repellent coating, metal wall panels, TPO roofing, sheet metal flashing, cementitious fireproofing, intumescent fireproofing, joint sealants, expansion joints, glass & glazing, metal studs, sheathing, paint, high-performance coating, signs, fire extinguishers & cabinets, elevators, fire sprinklers, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, earthwork, micro piles, striping & signs, Virtual Project Information / Community Outreach Session Meet the project team Learn more about the scope of work Project timeline Procurement opportunities Goals In addition to any requirements that the Owner may have, McCarthy requires that: 1. Subcontractors having subcontract amounts over $500,000 and exterior skin scopes of work including waterproofing, roofing, plaster and fall protection systems, contractors provide performance and payment bonds and 2. Suppliers having purchase order amounts greater than $500,000 provide contract supply bonds. All bonds are to be for 100% of the subcontract or purchase order amount, as applicable, and from a surety listed in U.S. Treasury Circular 570 and have an A.M. Best Rating of A- or better. If your firm is listed as a proposed subcontractor in any listing required by law or the contract documents, such listing and subsequent award of a subcontract is contingent on your firm providing bonds meeting both Owner and McCarthy requirements.
