The Town of Bedford Public Works Department, hereinafter referred to as the Owner, is seeking bids from professional tennis court contractors for providing crack sealing and resurfacing to the 3 tennis courts and 1 basketball court adjacent to Riddle Brook School, 230 New Boston Road, Bedford, NH. The Owner will expect the following; 1) Rout and fill structural cracks with concrete fortified with E330 Acrylic Binder. 2) Fill hairline cracks with Premier-Crack rubberized liquid crack filler. 3) Remove six (3) center strap net anchors. Furnish and install six (3) new center strap net anchors. 4) Clean entire surface area with compressed air. 5) Total crack repaired areas to receive three (3) coats of Premier Sports Resurfacer. This will fill surface voids and act as a prime coat for the color system. 6) Total area to receive one (1) coat of Premier Sports Resurfacer. This will fill surface voids and act as a prime coat for the color system. 7) Total area to receive two (2) coats of Premier Sports Coatings, tennis courts colors to be DK. Green and Red. Basketball court color to be DK Green. 8) Apply three (3) sets of hand painted, regulation, tennis lines with white textured Premier Sports-Line paint. 9) Apply three (3) sets of hand painted, regulation, pickle ball lines with textured Premier Sports-Line paint of a color recommended by contractor and discussed with Parks foreman. 10) Apply one (1) set of hand painted regulation, basketball lines on basketball court (including three point arcs) with white textured Premier Sports-Line paint. All questions or requests for clarification regarding the Bid must be received in writing, via email, to publicworks@bedfordnh.org by Wednesday, February 1, 2023. Answers to all questions received will be published in an addendum no later than Thursday, February 2, 2023. The Town of Bedford reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, and to waive any minor informalities as it deems to be in the best interest of the Town. The Town reserves the right to conduct reasonable negotiations with low bidders and sole bidders. The Town also reserves the right to cancel the award because of non-performance by winning bidder related to any of the terms, conditions, and specifications identified in the Bid. Failure to submit all information may declare a Bid as non- responsive and subject to disqualification
