Saving Project...

Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Oscoda, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

The Iosco Regional Educational Service Agency (IRESA) is soliciting sealed bid proposals for a Contractor to install an outside 25'x50' concrete basketball court west of the existing parking lot at the Alternative Educational Academy (AEA) site located at 5800 Skeel Ave. in Oscoda, MI. The contract will include minor grading/excavation, subbase preparation, concrete slab placement and the installation of two basketball posts, hoops and backboards. The plans and specifications cover all of the work. Bid bonds are required. Payment and performance bonds will be required. Davis-Bacon wage rates will not apply. There will be no organized site visit. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, however it is intended to make award of a firm, fixed-price contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder based upon the rules outlined in the Bid Form. Construction is intended to commence on/after June 12, 2023 following the end of the school year. The project must be completed within 60 days and no later than August 18, 2023 when staff members return for the next school year. No liquidated damages will be assessed. No construction estimate has been calculated.
