Reference number : 1685998 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-02-14 Submission sent electronically accepted: No The City is requesting bids to carry out the camera inspection of part of the Laurier sanitary interceptor, located under the Yamaska River over a distance of 1310 meters. These services are made necessary due to the breakage of a section of this interceptor which had to be rebuilt urgently in 2022. The condition of the replaced pipe had deteriorated prematurely due to the presence of H 2 S. More specifically, it involves inspecting five (5) sections whose lengths vary between 115 linear meters and 490 linear meters and whose diameters are 750 millimeters and 900 millimeters. These inspections must be carried out at night in a safe manner, with the presence of relatively high flows. The flow rate of wastewater can reach two (2) meters per second, which makes it necessary to carry out the inspection on the direction of the current. However, the flow velocity prevents particle sedimentation.
