Improvement and expansion of trailhead parking and related facilities at Gold Creek Parking Lot and West Canyon Parking Lot. This Invitation to Tender (ITT) is for the enlargement and improvement of West Canyon Parking Lot and Gold Creek Parking Lot, located within Golden Ears Provincial Park, a large front- and back-country Provincial park located just northeast of the city of Maple Ridge. The works consist generally of clearing, grubbing, and stripping areas for parking lot expansion, subgrade construction, sub-base and surfacing gravel construction in expansion areas as well as on existing surfaces, construction of drainage, and installation of various associated facilities such as pit toilets, information shelters, traffic delineation, and signage.
