The initial term of the Agreement shall be from July 1, 2023, through June 30, 2026, commencing after the Village's award of the Agreement ("Term"). This Agreement shall also include a two-year optional renewal term (a "Renewal Term") to be exercised at the sole discretion of the Village. The Renewal Term shall immediately commence upon expiration of the then-current Term or Renewal Term unless, without limitation with respect to the Village's right to terminate the resulting Agreement, the Village provides the Contractor with written notice of nonrenewal at least 60 days before the expiration of the then-current Term. If any proposer has questions about this RFP, the proposer may submit inquiries via email to procurement@villageoflisle.org. All inquiries must be in writing and received by the deadline for RFP questions listed above. Inquiries submitted after this time may not be accepted and shall not be addressed in the Addendum released on or before the date listed above. The Village reserves the right to issue addenda at any time before proposals are due, if doing so is in the best interest of the Village. All such addenda shall be issued no later than March 3, 2023. The Village will not accept or respond to questions received orally about this RFP, and any responses provided shall not be binding on the Village unless incorporated in a later-binding addendum. All proposers are responsible for monitoring and the Village's website for issuance of any addenda Scope of Work/Specifications The Village currently has a subscription/sticker collection program for residential refuse, recycling and yard waste collection and disposal, which is due to expire on June 30, 2023. Residential garbage, recycling and yard waste is collected curbside once a week on Wednesdays. Residents have the option to subscribe to a subscription cart program (35, 65, 95-gallon containers choices), or purchase garbage or yard waste stickers to place on containers and/or bags for collection. The scope of services includes the collection, transportation, and disposal of refuse, recyclables, yard waste, and other materials from all attached single-family, detached single family, multi-family residential units, and designated municipal sites within the corporate limits of the Village ("Services"). The exact scope of services to be performed will be determined upon award of the Agreement to successful respondent and is outlined in Exhibit C. In the event of any substantial reduction in the Services to be provided upon award of the Agreement, the pricing included in the proposal shall be equitably adjusted. The Village reserves the right to reject all proposals and re-issue this RFP, in full or in part, as result of a reduction in the Services. It is the goal of the Village to select a single Contractor to provide the Services pursuant to the terms and conditions as outlined and explained in this RFP.
