Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This Request for Proposal is an invitation by the City of Kelowna to prospective submitters to provide a submission for the preconstruction design services with the potential of also providing the construction. The Bertram Pedestrian Overpass will create a new, accessible, and reliable connection over Highway 97 for people walking and bicycling. It will link growing neighborhoods on the south side of Highway 97 to Downtown and, in the future, to the surrounding active transportation network. This new connection will improve access to parks, employment, transit, businesses, services and amenities for people working and living on both sides of Highway 97. Documents can be obtained from https://kelowna.bonfirehub.ca/portal/ The City anticipates the budget required for the final construction of project will be between $5.5M and $7.0M, excluding applicable taxes. Proceeding to construction is subject to the City achieving its budget approvals and obtaining applicable permits.
