For HVAC Upgrades at Boone Elementary School Questions - 281-988-3188 Question Deadline: 2/21/2023 02:00 PM (CT) HVAC upgrades to Boone Elementary School including the installation of twelve RTU's that have been pre-purchased by the Owner for installation as outlined in the Project Manual. The replacement of exiting multi zone RTU and associated ductwork with a VRF system and associated electrical and building controls to all new equipment. MEP work primarily includes removal of existing HVAC equipment and associated components, and installation new HVAC equipment, ductwork and devices, infill of existing roof openings along with partial roof replacement in those defined opening locations, building management control system, associated electrical, HVAC piping and insulation All of the twelve rooftop units shown on the documents have been procured by Alief ISD. Contractor is to receive and install these units as shown in the drawings. Electrical work primarily includes removal and reinstallation of existing light fixtures in the new ceiling grid as well as electrical work and modifications associated with the new HVAC equipment. Ceiling work includes removal of existing acoustical lay-in ceiling grid and tiles, and replacement of same with new materials. All existing voltage wires and ceiling mounted FA, PA, Security and Intrusion devices are to remain in place. Protect and support them as needed during ceiling demo and takedown. Existing roofing system is still under warranty. Roofing work is to be provided by a Hyload certified roofer as required to accommodate new and modified rooftop HVAC equipment.
