Sealed Bids Will Be Received for the Construction of the Grand Island Public Schools, Walnut Middle School Renovation, 1600 North Custer Street, Grand Island, Nebraska, and Security Vestibules and Associated Work at Gates Elementary School (2700 W. Louise St.), Howard Elementary School (502 W. 9th St.), Lincoln Elementary School (805 N. Beal St.), West Lawn Elementary School (3022 W. College St.), Wasmer Elementarty School (318 S. Clark St.), and Newell Elementary School (2700 W. 13th St). The deposit will be returned ONLY if the contract documents are returned complete and in good condition to the Architect within TEN (10) days after the opening of proposals. Anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the board is not bound to accept the low proposal; the board reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and the board reserves the absolute right to select the firm or team which is, in the board's sole discretion, best suited to providing the requested services on a competent, timely basis, regardless of price. Five percent (5%) Bid Security is required. One hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond are required. For purposes of these documents, the owner is using the term bid(s), bidder(s), bidding as synonymous with the term proposal(s).
