The Greenwood Entertainment District Mobility Improvements project relates to the construction of improvements along and within Greenwood Plaza Blvd to improve mobility within the Greenwood Entertainment District. Improvements include widening of sidewalks along both sides of Greenwood Plaza Blvd south of East Peakview Avenue; restriping of southbound travel lanes within Greenwood Plaza Blvd; extension of landscaped medians within Greenwood Plaza Blvd; installation of a pedestrian crosswalk and associated beacons to allow for safe passage across the roadway; and potential signage and lighting improvements to increase pedestrian safety. The City of Greenwood Village is funding 1/3 of the projected construction costs. In partnership with other entities. Design and construction of the proposed improvements is anticipated for 2023 as phase 1 of a larger phased implementation of mobility improvements in the Greenwood Entertainment District. As of February 6, 2023, this project is included in the City of Greenwood Village 2023 - 2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and funding is allotted for 2023. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
