Any proposals received after bid closing time will be returned unopened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond in the amount of $25,000 guaranteeing faithful performance and the payment of all bills and obligations arising from the performance of the Contract. Successful bidder will also be required to have a minimum of $ 300,000.00 Commercial Auto Liability Insurance. The Rapides Parish Police Jury utilizes BidSync, an electronic bid response system, to receive bids electronically over the interne. The Owner shall have the right to reject any or all proposals for just cause in accordance with the State of Louisiana Public Bid Law, and shall reject any Bid not accompanied by any information required in the advertisement or in Bidding Documents, or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
