For Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) On-Site Training Center - Phase 2 The KCTCS-ECTC Construct Onsite Training Center - Phase 2 project will be bid and constructed utilizing the Construction Management as Constructor form of construction contract delivery. Trace Creek Construction will be the Construction Manager for the project under direct contract with DECA. The project is generally described as approximately 45,820 sq. ft. single story facility, with a mechanical mezzanine. The project is inclusive of a new training facility for KCTCS-ECTC in Glendale, KY, in partnership with the new Ford Manufacturing facility currently being constructed on the same campus. The project is to be completed in 350 calendar days. The bids shall be guaranteed for a period of thirty days and no bid may be withdrawn prior to the thirty-day period. The below bonding requirements shall apply to Bid Package 006 General Trades (Phase 2), Bid Package 007 Roofing, Bid Package 008 Aluminum Storefronts, Curtain Walls, & Glazing, Bid Package 009 Gypsum Systems & Ceilings, Bid Package 010 MCM / Formed Metal Wall Panels, Bid Package 011 Tiling & Resilient Flooring, Bid Package 012 Painting & Special Coatings, Bid Package 013 Fire Suppression, Bid Package 014 Mechanical, and Bid Package 015 Electrical. A 5% bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid including all alternates is required to be submitted with the official form of proposal. A 100% payment and performance bond shall be executed for the full contract value of the base bid and any alternates accepted. Bids will be received from Individual Trade Package Contractors on a Lump Sum Bid Basis for the Individual Trade Bid Package as described herein. All phases of the work described and outlined within the Individual Trade Bid Packages will be completed by the successful Individual Trade Bid Package Contractor. Bids shall be submitted in the manner herein described and on the official proposal form included with the general conditions and specifications and shall be subject to all the conditions as set forth and described in the Bid Documents. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Clerical errors and omissions in the computation of the lump sum bid shall not be cause for withdrawal of bid without forfeiture of bid bond. Bids may be withdrawn in person only, prior to the closing date for receipt of bids. Trace Creek reserves the right to accept and/or reject any bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Owner.
