Counties: Lake Road Name: Lake county TSM&O Pushbutton Limits: Midpoint Project(S): 44623615204(*) Federal Aid No: N/a Total Roadway Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Days: 180 Total Bridge Length: 0.000 Miles Total Proposal Length: 0.000 Miles Contract Execution Days: 10 Special Start Date: N/a Aquis/flexible Start Time: This is a Work Document driven quick response contract for furnishing and installing Transportations Systems Management and Operations (TSM&O) equipment, such as: traffic signal controller cabinet assemblies with foundations, video vehicle detection systems, network communication equipment (e.g., managed field Ethernet switch), and CCTV cameras, as well as necessary modifications to existing traffic signalized intersection configurations including relocation of existing equipment, modifications to cabinet bases, and changes necessary to provide the high-resolution data required by Advanced Traffic Signal Performance Metrics (ATSPM) towards improving the overall traffic management capabilities for a period of two (2) years or until the contracted amount has been reached. The number of work documents from the contract will be limited by a budgetary ceiling of $500,000 dollars. The quantities shown on the Bid Price Proposal are approximate and only represent estimated planned requirements based on historical or specific project needs. The Department does not guarantee any maximum or minimum quantity, any range of quantities, or the exact quantities shown for each bid item. The Departments estimated quantities and the Contractors bid price will be used to calculate a total bid amount. This total bid amount will then be used to determine the low bidder` however, actual payment under the awarded contract will be based on actual quantities completed. For this Contract in which specific sites are not identified at the time of letting, the Engineer will issue a Contract Work Document. Contract Work Documents will identify the location, description, amount of work to be accomplished, and the number of calendar days to complete the work. Prequalification Required For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00.
