This is for inspection services (asbestos) on a home reconstruction/replacement project via the MS Home Corporation. The Adams County Board of Supervisors will receive sealed proposals for professional services on their 2021 HOME Rehabilitation/Reconstruction Project. This project consists of two (2) substandard residential units for rehabilitation and three (3) units for manufactured replacement. Proposals will be accepted from trained Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) certified asbestos inspectors to inspect all five (5) units. The proposers should be familiar with the HUD/Home Requirements, rules and regulations. The proposals should be labeled "Asbestos Inspection Proposal" and have a valid DEQ certification number recorded on the outside. Respondents will be evaluated according to the following factors: 1. Experience - 40% 2. Qualifications of Staff - 40% 3. Capacity for Performance- 20% The selection will be based on an evaluation of the written responses. The award will be made to the most qualified offer whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to Adams County, all factors considered. This solicitation is being offered in accordance with State requirements governing procurement of professional services. Adams County, MS reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
