Renovation of a detention facility in Davenport, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
This project includes: Full removal and replacement of the existing building UPS at the County Jail Building. Work for this project includes electrical works, and associated work as noted on the Drawings. Make proposals on the bid forms supplied in the Project Manual. No oral, telegraphic or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to Scott County in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bids may not be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the scheduled time of opening bids, without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids, or parts ofsuch bids, and waive informalities or irregularities in bidding. Scott County reserves the right to reject any and / or all bids. Further, Scott County reserves the right to resolicit and/or re-bid this project at any time in the future. The Owner requires Substantial Completion ofthe project on or before November 22, 2023.
