The Marathon County Facilities and Capital Management Department is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide labor, material, and equipment to complete exterior envelope repairs to the Marathon County Courthouse located at 500 Forest Street Wausau WI 54403. Provide all materials, labor, expertise, all equipment, and required insurance to complete exterior repairs to the Marathon County Courthouse. General items to be done but not limited to are caulk replacement, painting, masonry cleaning and sealing, and resealing of windows and skylights. Bids received after 2:00 p.m. will not be accepted. Actual receipt by said time is required and deposit in the U.S. mail is insufficient. The envelope containing the sealed Bid shall bear the name and address of the interested firm and the notation "Marathon County Courthouse Exterior Envelope Repairs" on the outside of the envelope. Marathon County reserves the right to reject in whole or in part any and all proposals, to waive any informalities, and to accept the bids determined to be in the best interest of the County. This invitation may be canceled if determined to be in the best interest of the County The General Code of the County of Marathon contains various procurement policies which are applicable to this proposed procurement. These include prohibitions against gratuities and kickbacks.
