Town of Freetown, MA Request for Qualifications (RFQ) Owner's Project Manager (OPM) Services for the addition and renovation to Fire Station #3 In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sec. 44AV2, the Town of Freetown, by and through its Board of Selectmen and Building Committee, is requesting statements of qualifications for the services of an Owner's Project Manager (OPM) to represent the Town's interests in managing the development and construction of an addition and renovation of the existing Freetown Fire Station #3 located at 25 Bullock Road, East Freetown, MA. The estimated cost is $ 2,750,000. Proposers must have, or be firms employing, a person with, a current license and registration by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as an architect or professional engineer, with a minimum of five years' experience in the construction and supervision of construction of buildings, or if not licensed as described, then seven years' experience in the construction and supervision of construction of buildings. The fee will be negotiated with the selected OPM. The Freetown Board of Selectmen is the awarding authority. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to only award a contract if it is in the best interest of the Town to do so.
