Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in North Kingstown, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and road / highway.
STIP: 3182, PTS ID: 2601R Minor Rehab of the Nasonville Concrete Arch (#110). Major rehabilitation work, superstructure, and/or total replacement for the Glendale (#112), Joslin Road (#672) bridges. Stabilization and maintenance of a 350 foot wall along RI-7 just north of the intersection of RI-7 and RI-102. RI DOT - Bridge Group 17B - BUR 2023-CB-006, 2000719 Work under this contract shall consist of, but not be limited to: Removal and replacement of southeast return wall and concrete coping along spandrel wall; chinking and repointing of existing stone masonry spandrel and return walls; repair of underside of existing arch and abutments as required; removal of guardrail with the addition of steel railing mounted to new concrete rail base and moment slab; installation and maintenance of water and dike system during concrete repairs; full depth pavement replacement over the bridge arch and approximately 110 feet on the south side of the bridge and 150 feet on the north side of the bridge; removal and replacement of bituminous berm; resetting existing catch basin with new frame and grate; cleaning and flushing pipes; selected clearing and grubbing; erosion control measures; new pavement markings; signage; maintenance and protection of traffic.
