Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Fairborn, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Fairborn, Ohio will receive sealed bids for the Broad Street Improvements Phase 2 Work includes, but is not limited to: Reducing vehicle lanes on Broad Street and resurfacing Installing on-street bike lanes Widening sidewalks Adding street trees Adding street lighting Applying access management principles Adding additional decorative elements. Installing Waterline along Broad Street Curb / Median changes on Ohio, Greene, and South Street as part of permanent traffic control adjustments. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this PROJECT. Prequalification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. For work types that ODOT does not pre-qualify, the LPA must still select a qualified contractor. Subcontractors are not subject to the pre-qualification requirement. The prime contractor must perform no less than 30 percent of the total original contract price. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bidding, and to enter into a contract with the bidder(s) who in the Citys opinion offers the lowest and best bid.
