The University of Alberta Hospital (UAH), Brain Centre Redevelopment project brought forward by Alberta Infrastructure in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS). This project is to decant existing departments in Level 2 of the Walter Mackenzie Centre (WMC) to the Kaye Edmonton Clinic (KEC) and the Aberhart Centre to make space available for the next phase of the Brain Centre project. The decanting spaces includes: .1 Demolish, renovate and fit up Aberhart Level 1 for Pediatric Ambulatory Clinic. .2 Demolish and renovate KEC Level 2 for permanent relocation of G.I. Motility Clinic. .3 Minor renovation on KEC Level 6 for temporary decanting of Renal Transplant and Kidney Care Support Clinic. .4 Minor renovation in WMC 1D1 pod for Pediatric MOU Clinic .5 Minor demolition and fit up on WMC 2C3 for temporary decanting of physician offices. .6 Provide Mock-up of typical rooms as per drawing A2.1.223, A2.1.523 and A2.1.524 with coroplast panel for walls and ceilings, print 1:1 scale headwall and wall mounted devices, power and data outlets, build out major mechanical fixtures, millwork and ceiling lift track for Owner to review. Location to be determined by Owner within the campus. .7 The Abatement Contractor must track and report all asbestos-containing materials removed on a monthly basis to the Owner and Environmental Consultant. Tracking information should include, but is not limited to, location of material removed, quantity of material removed, and confirmation of disposal.
