A timeline for award has not yet been established.** General Notice Village of Corfu (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Village of Corfu WWTP Disinfection Improvements In accordance with Section 103 of Article 5-A of the General Municipal Law The Project includes the following Work: Construction, installation, and setting-to-work of an external stand-alone gravity-flow ultra-violet (UV) disinfection system to treat effluent discharge from both the Village of Corfu wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and the Town of Pembroke WWTP to meet specified standards. The UV installation will include all equipment, civil works, site piping, electrical services, controls, testing and commissioning, fabrication and accessory equipment necessary to provide a fully-functioning system. Project includes installation of self-aspirating aerator, new structural concrete tank and wood pole cover construction. Miscellaneous heating improvements are also included in this project. If the documents are to be shipped, the Bidder must furnish Avalon with the Bidders active UPS or Federal Express account number or pay Avalon for all shipping and handling costs. Bidding Documents may be examined at the offices of MRB Group (The Culver Road Armory, 145 Culver Road, Suite 160, Rochester, N.Y. 14620), and the Village of Corfu (116 East Main Street, Corfu, NY 14036), on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:30 PM. Bidding Documents will not be available from MRB Group or the Owner. The Village of Corfu, Genesee County, NY, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to waive any informalities, or to make an award to other than the low bidder. It further reserves the right to limit the amount of the award. Attention of the bidders is particularly directed to the requirements of the conditions of employment to be observed and minimum Wage Rates to be paid under the Contract.
