Renovation of a water / sewer project in Genesee, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of March 3, 2023, the contract was awarded to the low bidder, Waldorf & Sons, Inc. bid amount of $1,222,550.00. . All bids received will be opened and publicly read aloud. Proposals are solicited based on a Lump Sum price for all labor and material required to complete the project as designed and specified in the contract. The principal items of work include: Reconstruction of four (4) existing sanitary sewer pump stations from a wet/dry system to a submersible system, including demolition, pump replacement, valve vault construction, and electrical system upgrades. The above referenced project is a federally funded activity authorized under the U.S. Department of the Treasury Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF). All successful bidders must comply with federal labor standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act and the Copeland Anti-Kickback legislation and federal equal opportunity requirements. Minority/Women/Handicapped business owned enterprises (MBE/WBE/HBE) seeking bid opportunities under this Project Notice are encouraged to respond. The right is reserved by Charter Township of Genesee to accept any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities in any bid, in the interest of Charter Township of Genesee.
