The purpose of this request is to obtain proposals from qualified contractors to provide routine maintenance, emergency services, and non maintenance services associated with properties, buildings, facilities, and infrastructure owned and operated by San Jose State University. The scope of this request is specific to Mechanical Maintenance services. If multiple Contractors are selected the University will endeavor to divide the work based upon the needs of the campus and the experience and expertise of the Contractors. The University anticipates entering into a time and material one (1) year agreement. The Proposal shall be binding upon the Contractor for 180 calendar days following the RFP opening date. Any Proposal on which the Contractor shortens the acceptance period may be rejected.
