Scope of Work: Project A: Dommerich Hills Sanitary Sewer Extension, Phases II, III, and IV includes the Installation of approximately 14,500 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer, 4,000 linear feet of 10-inch gravity sewer, 85 manholes, and associated sidewalk and roadway restoration. Project B: Maitland MPS Forcemain includes the installation of approximately 830 linear feet of 14-inch force main, two 14-inch plug valves, 10-inch line stop, force main connection, and roadway restoration. The South Seminole North Orange County Wastewater Transmission Authority (SSNOCWTA) owns the wastewater transmission system within this neighborhood. As both entities own facilities co-located within the project limits requiring modifications, the bid documents include references to Project A (Dommerich Hills Sanitary Sewer Extension, Phases II, III, and IV) and Project B (Maitland MPS Forcemain). Project A includes expansion of the City of Maitland gravity sewer collection system. Project B includes replacement of SSNOCWTA force main piping. Proposing contractors must submit bids for both Project A and Project B. The Successful Bidder will be awarded Project A and will contract with the City of Maitland to construct the work. Project B will be awarded to the Successful Bidder contingent upon the SSNOCWTA accepting the Project B bid price, however the bidder shall only be bound by their bid if also awarded Project A. If Project B is awarded, the Successful Bidder will contract directly with SSNOCWTA to construct the work.
