Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wildwood, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
DESCRIPTION OF WORK: All work for the Project shall be constructed in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications prepared by the Engineer. Bids shall be submitted for furnishing, delivering, and installing all materials, equipment, and services including labor for the Work, which generally involves the following activities: Pavement rehabilitation, curbing, driveway restoration, drainage improvement, and watermain replacement. CONTRACT TIME: Construction time to achieve Substantial Completion is 120 consecutive calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed, with an additional 30 consecutive calendar days to achieve Final Completion. Total construction duration is 150 consecutive calendar days. PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND: The Owner will require that the Contractor furnish a Performance and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract Price. All Payment and Performance Bonds shall be secured from or countersigned by an agency or surety company recognized in good standing and authorized to do business in the State of Florida.
