The Work to be completed under this contract includes a base and one alternate bid for the mill and overlay of roadway surfaces at specified locations in Warminster Township, including base repair, leveling course and pavement markings. The quantities and road list are provided in Section 01 22 00 Measurement and Payment. All material, labor, and equipment necessary shall be in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408 and Township Standards. Asphalt materials shall be based on PennDOT's February 2023 Asphalt Cement Price Index. CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 2/18/2023 12:00 PM The Township intends for work to begin no earlier than May 1, 2023 and to be substantially completed within 45 calendar days after the contract times commence. This project is subject to applicable provisions of Act 89, Transportation (74 PA.C.S.) and Vehicle Code (75 PA.C.S.) Omnibus Amendments and applicable provisions of Act 422, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, as amended, and the prevailing minimum wage rates issued by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry for work valued at over One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000). If the Contract Price exceeds $175,000.00, the project is subject to the Township's Responsible Contractor Requirements. All bids shall remain subject to acceptance for 60 days after the Bid Opening or for such period of time that Bidder may agree to in writing upon request. Bids may be withdrawn within two (2) business days after the opening of Bids only by the withdrawing Bidder's strict compliance with 73 P.S. 1602 and any subsequent amendments. Warminster Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids for any cause whatsoever, to eliminate any item or items from the contract, and to waive any informality in the bids.
