In general, the Project includes resurfacing existing asphalt roadways. Work includes, but is not limited to 2.25 inch pavement surface removal, full-depth pavement patching, pipe culverts, aggregate shoulders, grading and shaping ditches, PCC curb & gutter, resurfacing with hot-mix asphalt level binder and surface courses, landscape restoration, traffic control and protection, and all incidental and collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the Plans and described herein. and in strict compliance with the Bid Documents. The Project is to be substantially completed by July 14, 2023. Dated: February 15, 2023 PERFORMANCE AND PAYMENT BOND The CONTRACTOR shall provide to the TOWNSHIP with a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract sum to ensure completion of work and to guarantee work performance in accordance with the CONTRACT. Prior to issuance of final payment, the CONTRACTOR shall provide to the TOWNSHIP a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 10% of the final construction cost to ensure completion of any repairs that may be required. The Project is to be substantially completed by July 14, 2023. The Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/01, et seq., shall apply to the Project.
