QA 23 Feb 03:00 PM The Work under this Contract may include repair, salvage, alteration, or prefabrication of indicated existing materials for reuse on the Project. 1. Because of the scope of Work with existing facilities to remain, Contractor shall take care to respect and preserve the fabric of the existing and surrounding structures. Adequate provisions shall be made by the Contractor to prevent damage to any existing condition, feature, structure, item or finish which is intended to be saved, rebuilt, or refinished. 2. Reuse of existing materials shall comply with the applicable portions of the specifications as for new work. Workmanship for reuse of existing materials, not otherwise specified, shall conform to original workmanship at the time building was constructed as evidenced on similar installations still in place.
