Period of Contract: The contract period will be 120 days from date of award commencing as of the date RRHA issues a written Notice to Proceed with performance of the work (or issuance of a specific Task Order if this is a Task Order Contract), unless the Contract is properly amended, extended, or terminated as provided herein. The contract will not be renewed. Fay Towers (collectively called the "Project") is the planned rehabilitation of an eleven (11) story, 200-unit apartment building located at 1202 N 1st Street in Richmond, Virginia sitting on 2.2 acres of land with a square footage of approximately 95,832 square feet. It is anticipated that the current 200 one-bedroom unit building will be converted into 150 affordable units with a mix of studio, and one and two-bedroom units with amenities. The project is being financed with 4% Low Income Housing Tax Credits as issued by the Virginia Housing and must adhere to Virginia Housing's Minimum Design Standards as well as Historic Tax Credits
