Site work for a water / sewer project in Midlothian, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Chesterfield County Public Schools (CCPS) has installed a 10-classroom mega trailer at Old Hundred ES on the existing multipurpose field. The mega trailer has increased the impervious area on the site, and as a result, CCPS will need to expand the existing BMP pond to accommodate the additional runoff. The Engineer, Timmons Group, has provided a design and project drawings (Attachment A). Work is to begin June 3, 2023 and contractor shall have substantial completion on or prior to August 1, 2023. The Contractor shall be mindful that Old Hundred ES is a summer school site. To limit the disturbance of instruction all work shall be coordinated with the CCPS Project Manager (PM) no less than 3 days in advance of work commencing. The first day of summer school is June 26, 2023. Prior to Completion, the Contractor shall request a walkthrough of the site with the CCPS PM to review completed items and prepare a punch list. Punch list shall be completed in a manner acceptable to CCPS no later than 5 days after walkthrough.
