As of December 2, 2024, this project is under construction. Utah County is seeking proposals from qualified firms or individuals to perform inside and outside plant network design, fiber route planning which may include conduit and microduct route planning, engineering and permitting for a "make-ready" network, project bidding, project constructionv management, verification and testing The County intends to install new fiber, replace existing fiber, and any other associated items to improve the existing fiber optic network by creating redundancy and connectivity for sites located throughout Utah County. The County's primary goal is to construct a fiber optic network infrastructure that will accommodate the current and future needs of Utah County.
