Reference Number : 1689148 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-02-20 Submission sent electronically accepted: Yes, in a single submission document Expected duration of the contract without the options (in months): 24 The purpose of this call for tenders is to retain the services of one (or more) PAINTING CONTRACTOR(S), who must hold a "Contractor in finishing works" license (sub-category 9.0) in accordance with the Building Act (CQLR chapter B-1.1) who will, upon request, carry out painting work according to the specific needs of all EMSB buildings. (Refer to the list of civic addresses of buildings in Annex A) The contract will be valid for a period of one year from the date of award. A.2The agreement will have a one-year renewal option. This option may be exercised at the request of the PUBLIC BODY and with the agreement of the successful bidder. A.3 The Works include in particular the supply of the products, materials, equipment, tools and labor necessary for the execution of the Contract, according to the conditions provided for in this Quotation and in the all the Tender Documents. A.4 The Work will be carried out during the school year, according to a schedule mainly (but not exclusively) in the evening and on weekends (outside school hours). Some Work may be required in the presence of students, but must be authorized by the management of the school concerned and by the Project Manager or the Representative of the PUBLIC BODY. The specific time will be specified when ordering Works, together with any relevant details. A.5 The Work will be carried out primarily, but not exclusively, in schools of the English Montreal School Board. The spaces concerned are, without limitation: common areas, administrative offices, classrooms, corridors, stairwells and gymnasiums. The surfaces to be painted or repainted are varied: concrete, plaster, gypsum, etc.
