As per the Owner the project has been Withdrawn. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information The project is to replace two bridges on Maryland 91 in Carroll County under a full detour. Bridge 0602000 carries MD 91 over the North Branch of the Patapsco River. It will be replaced by a single-span prestressed girder bridge supported by a caisson foundation. Bridge 0604700 carries MD 91 over Maryland Midland Railroad. It will be replaced by a single-span steel girder bridge supported by a micropile foundation and a spread footing. The project will also involve the construction of three stormwater management facilities and stream diversions at the river bridge. Access to the site during the detour will be through a temporary construction easement through the adjacent railroad loading yard. There is an incentive/disincentive clause restricting the detour to a nine-month duration. Counties: Carroll County Classification: F ($5,000,001 to $10,000,000) Funding: Federal F.A.P. Number: AC-STBG-G-1140(3)E DBE Participation (%) 8.0 The MDOT SHA hereby notifies all bidders that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority/ disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this notice and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, sex, age, marital status, sexual orientation, sexual identity, genetic information or disability in consideration for an award. Minority/ Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to respond to this solicitation. On Federally assisted projects, the bidder's attention is called to the Standard Federal Equal Employment Opportunity Construction Contract Specifications (Executive Order 11246) which is a part of the contract proposal. All of these activities shall be done in accordance with Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, as amended. It is the goal of MDOT SHA that Disadvantaged and/or Minority Business Enterprises participate in all Federal Aid and State contracts, as applicable. Each contract will contain a specific participation goal. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held for this contract. Minimum wage rates for each Project, if applicable, have been pre-determined by law and are set forth in the Invitation for Bids (IFB). Bids must only be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms (and attachments) that are furnished by the Administration. In accordance with State Finance and Procurement Title 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, no bid, performance or payment bonds are required for bids less than $100,000.00. However, bids $100,000.00 and above will not be considered unless a Bid Security is submitted as outlined in the Invitation for Bids. Bid Security shall equal at least five percent (5%) of the total amount bid. Also, the successful bidder will be required to supply Payment and Performance Bonds for all Contracts in excess of $100,000.00.
