Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Baxter, Minnesota. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

As of December 14, 2023, per owner a design team has been selected. No general contractor at this time. PT contract through October 2027. Construction schedule has not yet been determined. TH 210/Washington Street Final Design MnDOT requests responses to deliver final design plans and associated work for the reconstruction of Trunk Highway (TH) 210 in the city of Baxter and Brainerd, MN as State Project (SP) 1805-80. The project extends from Baxter Drive in Baxter to Pine Shores Drive in Brainerd. The project will rehabilitate/preserve existing TH 210 from Baxter Drive to NW 4th St, reconstruct from NW 4th street to 10th AVE NE and rehabilitate/preserve from 10thth AVE NE to Pine Shores Drive. Included in the reconstruction segment is Bridge 5060 which is slated to widen the sidewalks, narrow medians, and add barrier to separate the walk and traffic lanes. The existing traffic model and staff approved layout will be revisited by the contractor to verify the appropriate construction limits of the project to finalize right of way acquisitions. Project development started on this project in 2020 to develop a final layout and environmental documentation. This bridge work will be designed separately. The goal of this project is to have final plans and specifications to successfully bid and build this project. 2 Responders are encouraged to propose additional tasks or activities if they will substantially improve the results of the project. These items should be separated from the required items on the cost proposal. Anticipated Term The term of this contract is anticipated to run from March 2023 to October 31, 2027.
