A timeline for award has not yet been established.** For Rehabilitate Aprons D1, D2 and D3 Base Bid: $418,688.00 Additive Bid #1: $366,135.00 Additive Bid #2: $91,146.00 Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project. Payment shall be made by a certified check or money order drawn on some solvent account, payable to the "Treasurer of Cuyahoga County, Ohio". Personal checks or cash will not be accepted. Each Bidder shall include a bid guaranty with every Proposal, per Ohio Revised Code (ORC) Section 153.54. The bid guaranty must be in the form of either a bid bond for the full amount (100%) of the Bid, or in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit, per ORC Chapter 1305, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid. If a bid bond is submitted as the bid guaranty, it must be that of an approved Surety authorized to transact business in the State of Ohio and it shall automatically increase to a 100% Performance and Payment Bond. If a certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit is submitted as the bid guaranty, it must be drawn on a solvent bank and made payable without condition to the Treasurer of Cuyahoga County. The County shall hold the bid bond or certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit as a guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will enter into a Contract for same. Bidders shall comply with wage rates determined by the Secretary of Labor in accordance with Federal-Aid requirements. By submitting a Proposal in the manner specified in Sections 2.11(b) and (c), the Contractor agrees on behalf of the submitting business entity, its officers, employees, Subcontractors, subgrantees, agents or assigns, that all contract documents requiring County signatures may be executed by electronic means, and that the electronic signatures affixed by the County to said documents shall have the same legal effect as if that signature was manually affixed to a paper version of the document. The Contractor also agrees on behalf of the aforementioned entity and persons, to be bound by the provisions of Chapters 304 and 1306 of the Ohio Revised Code as they pertain to electronic transactions, and to comply with the electronic signature policy of Cuyahoga County. This project is subject to the requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act, as amended. The Contractor is required to comply with wage and labor provisions and to pay minimum wages in accordance with the schedule of wage rates established by the United States Department of Labor. Award of contract is also subject to Federal provisions FOUND IN Section 200 of the specification booklet, which include, but not limited to: DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 26 Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Executive Order 11246 and DOL Regulation 41 CFR PART 60 - Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity DOL Regulation 29 CFR Part 5 - Davis Bacon Act Certification Regarding Debarment and Suspension (Non-Procurement) Title 2 CFR Par 180 & Title 2 CFR Part 1200 Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988 - 41 U.S.C. 702 through 706 TITLE 49 United States Code, SECTION 50101 - Buy American Preferences Cuyahoga County reserves the right to order the rejection of any or all Proposals.
