The work will be broken into two parts. Part 1 shall consist of the removal and installation of new concrete sidewalks. Part 2 shall consist of sidewalk paver reset/repair/replacement. Both Parts 1 and 2 will be on an on-call basis as directed by the Director of Public Works at various location in the Town of Southington. Bidders may bid on either or both parts. The bids for each part will be evaluated independently and may be awarded to different bidders. *No online bid submissions accepted* The work described above includes furnishing, installing and incorporating all materials and equip-ment into the project as well as performing or providing all labor, supervision, equipment, and ser-vices unless otherwise noted within the bid documents. The Town of Southington hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any con-tract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afford-ed full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and that they will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex, in consideration for this award. All bidders are required to inform themselves fully of the conditions relating to the construction and labor under which the work will be or is now being performed and the Contractor shall employ, as far as possible, such methods and means in the carrying out of this work as will not cause interruption or interference with any other contractor. The Town of Southington reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
