For GAATN Fiber Optic Network Outside Plant Moves, Adds, and Changes (GAATN MAC) Questions Due Date: Feb 24th 2023, 5:00 PM CST March 3, 2023 Questions and answers posted electronically Proposers seeking clarification or have questions pertaining to this RFP must submit questions in writing electronically The Austin Independent School District (herein after referred to as "AISD" or the "district"), acting on behalf of and as agent for the Greater Austin Area Telecommunications Network (GAATN), an interlocal agency formed and functioning under Chapter 791 of the Texas Government Code, including member participants the City of Austin, Austin Independent School District, Travis County, Austin Community College, Lower Colorado River Authority, University of Texas at Austin, and the State of Texas (DIR) (the GAATN "Participants"), requests competitive sealed proposals for Moves, Adds and Changes Work ("MAC Work" or "Work") in connection with GAATN's fiber optic communications network, under a GAATN Moves, Adds and Changes (GAATN MAC) Contract to be awarded under this solicitation, which is denominated 23RFP041GAATN Fiber Optic Network Outside Plant Moves, Adds, and Changes (GAATN MAC) (the "Project"). GAATN is interested in receiving proposals from Contractors with experience in successfully completing projects that are similar in scope, size, and complexity as the MAC Work described in this RFP, and who can meet any specialized requirements set forth.
