Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Libertyville, Illinois. Completed plans call for the construction of a 38,000-square-foot municipal facility.
The work consists of a new building of approximately 38,000 SF for a Regional 911 Dispatch Center. (See attached Summary of Work) Trades included but not limited to: Ornamental Cantilever Gate System, Ornamental Fence & Gates, Concrete Form Accessories, Post-Installed Anchors, Concrete Reinforcing, Cast-In-Place Concrete, Concrete Floor Finishes, Masonry, Structural Steel & Joist Framing, Steel Decking, Metal Fabrications, Rough Carpentry, Gypsum Sheating, FRP, Waterproofing, Insulation, Spray Foam Insulation, Weather Barriers, Metal Wall Panels, Rainscreen Aluminum Composite Material Wall Panels, Cementitious Panels, EPDM Roofing, Thermoplastic Roofing, Sheet Metal Roofing, Coping & Flashing, Roof Accessories, Firestopping, Joint Seals, Joint Sealants, Expansion Joint Cover Assemblies, D/F/H, Access Panels, Overhead Coiling Doors, Aluminum Storefront, Entrances & Curtainwalls, Storm Shelter Windows & Doors, Glazing, Louvers, Drywall, Tile, Acoustical Ceilings, Stretched Fabric Ceiling, Resilient/Carpet/Access Flooring, Prefinished Interior Panels, Acoustical Panels, Painting, Visual Display Boards, Signage, Toilet Partitions & Accessories, Corner Protection, Fire Protection Specialties, Flagpoles, Slide Gate Operator, Loading Dock Equipment, Window Shades, Casework, Electric Hoists, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC, BAS, Electrical, Communications, Fire Alarm, Excavation, Site Work, & Site Utilities. The Project consists of the construction of a new building of approximately 38,000 SF. 1. Briefly and without force and effect upon the Contract Documents, the Work of this single prime Contract can be summarized as follows: 2. Work under this Contract includes: a. Sitework 1) Site utilities: Water mains, storm sewers, sanitary sewers. 2) Rough and finish grading, paving, concrete sidewalks and plazas, ground cover, trees and shrubs. 3) Fencing, and miscellaneous site improvements. b. Building Structure 1) Concrete footings, concrete foundation walls, concrete slabs on grade, masonry bearing walls, steel framing, steel bar joist/deck roof systems, composite steel/concrete roof systems, insulated steel stud exterior bearing wall systems, and miscellaneous metal items including stairs, railings. c. Building Enclosure 1) Exterior wall systems of facade panels, cavity wall insulation, and metal panels. 2) Aluminum windows, curtainwall, storefront entrance systems and glazing, storm windows. Galvanized hollow metal doors and frames. Aluminum louvers. 3) Roofing systems of fully adhered single ply, pre-finished metal coping, pre-finished metal roofing. d. Interior Finishes 1) Insulated gypsum board/metal stud partitions, concrete block and burnished concrete block partitions. 2) Floor finishes of carpet, resilient goods, porcelain tile. 3) Wall finishes of paint, vinyl wallcovering, ceramic tile, porcelain tile. 4) Ceiling finishes of acoustical lay-in tile, gypsum board, gypsum board soffits, fabric ceilings. 5) Plastic laminate casework, architectural woodwork, HM doors and frames, wood doors, access panels, hardware, glazing, acoustic treatment, toilet partitions, toilet accessories, markerboards, tackboards, display cases, signage, loading dock equipment, miscellaneous specialties. e. Mechanical Systems 1) Plumbing including, supply and waste piping systems, piping insulation, plumbing fixtures. 2) Heating including hydronic piping, piping insulation, hydronic pumps, heat pumps, and other components. 3) Ventilation to include, air handlers, terminal units, ductwork, duct insulation, and other components. 4) Temperature control system. 3. Electrical Systems 1) Electrical service, switchgear, distribution panels, conduit and wiring. 2) Interior and exterior lighting. Parking lot lighting 3) Low voltage work to include: Structured cabling, outside plant fiber, security, access control, and surveillance. 4) Fire alarm. 5) Audio/Visual systems and equipment. 6) Building Automation Systems work to include equipment programming, interface, set up, and integration to Owner's enterprise BAS system. F. Keep Architect fully informed about progress of the work, performance of the work and potential problems. G. The Owner will hold a ground breaking at the start of construction. The Contractor is responsible to supply 20 new hard hats and 20 new shovels for the participants.
